Johnson Park

Johnson Park is a mature 18-hole facility opened in 1931. The challenging par 72, 6650 yard course takes advantage of the natural settings of the Root River and the surrounding groves of large trees. We have planted over 1,000 new trees and strategically placed them to enhance the beauty of the course and add challenge for the golf enthusiast. It is also the home of the Mike Bencriscutto Junior Masters Match Play Championship; a springboard for several current PGA tour players. For 25 Years, over 200 Wisconsin junior players compete for the coveted green jacket during the last week of July.

We have morning and afternoon weekday league and tee-times available. Many tee times are usually available between 11:00 and 3:00 on the weekdays and after 12:00 noon on the weekends. We have developed a state-of-the-art pace of play system that has been duplicated at other courses throughout the country. Our system has also received national recognition in many publications and was awarded by the National Golf Foundation in 1992. The pace of play not only ensures that you start your round at your scheduled tee time, but also allows you to complete 18 holes in 4-4½ hours. This time system makes planning the rest of your day much easier.
